Yes – YOU! Whether you are a seasoned wordsmith, or someone who barely feels adequate to manage a Facebook status, YOU have words and meaning buzzing through your head every day. They need a place to rest and work out who they are and what their true relevance is in your life. Sorting out your thoughts and feelings on paper can be a great stress reliever, helping you to make sense in trying times—or set in stone precious moments of joy and celebration.

 So, you’re going to a writers’ conference!
Good for you! You’re investing in the gift for words, or the testimony God has given you, to tell His Story through your story. A writers’ conference is the place to go for next level tools to advance your idea or manuscript through to the finish line of publication . . .  Time for the wearin' o' the green this month as we bid (hopefully) a fare thee well to winter white, and look forward to greener grasses and the harbinger of spring—St. Patrick's Day! It is a valuable slice of history we should all know about, so we might make the truth of the day the hallmark of our celebrations . . .
 Storytelling is an important facet of Irish culture. Their tales descend from olden days, when the first Celtic societies settled the rugged, green Irish landscapes. Perhaps the most recognized legend and emblem of Ireland, next to St. Patrick’s story and shamrock, is the beautiful symbol of the Claddagh . . .
First published in March 2017 on The Writers Reverie Podcast as Irish Storytelling: Legends and Love.  It is January 2021, and as our nation stands on the precipice of destruction at the hands of our enemies, God calls His people to STAND HIS GROUND, hold the line of His revealed purposes and destiny for America, and set our faith face like flint against the threat of instablity at this critical moment in world history.
Around midnight on January 18th I responded with the following words to a friend on Telegram who waivered in a moment of doubt, exhausted by hope seemingly deferred. I shared my anchor in this storm--and my complete confidence that deliverance from evil is come. I share my response here--with technical edits from the original. Christmas in the Trenches, by John McCutcheon In 2015, I recorded my 4th audio podcast, having just stepped into the world of recording and edition sound in obedience to the Lord that September. I had been blogging for a number of years and felt a great shift coming--but had not yet connected it to the entrance of Donald Trump into the election season that year. I just knew--our nation had been under seige, in the trenches, against a dark and destructive enemy. We needed light and deliverance from evil. And . . . it was Christmas . . . Here in Southern New Jersey we’ve endured these last two scorching summers of 2020 and 2021 temperatures in the mid-90’s and up, with humidity about the same. Add to that the heat of world-wide unrest as the forces of good and evil collide in every mountain of culture, in every nation: government, academics, economics, media, entertainment, church, and family. As we have reached the precipice in this transitional era of world history, high pressure systems can weigh us down with weariness, wariness, and wimpiness. Living one day to the next in the lava flow of hyped pandemics, totalitarian threats, and propaganda mind control at epic levels, becomes like slave labor in a sense. Our physical, mental, and emotional psyche seeks a reset in liberty, balance, and stability to know rest and renewal in a sensible air conditioned environment. That’s where our spirit man comes in—the ultimate stabilizing thermostat in our lives set by the Word and Promises of God in any weather condition. On every battlefield.  Now, more than ever, Christians must rise above the chaos and confusion of lies in the earthly and worldly spirit realm, and abide with God in the 3rd heaven spirit realm of the Throne Room. There we can know God's perfect will in this transformative era of world history He has called us to live through and usher in the answers to centuries of prayers that HIS Kingdom come and HIS will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. A great place to begin is worship in the Holy Spirit through the Psalms for our nation.
The Divine Responsibility of Every American ~ Especially American Christians!  Did you know you are living in a land of miraculous wonders and divine foundations wrought by the hand of God for eternal purposes?
Our Founding Fathers believed this to be true and established covenant documents to form Constitutional government never before seen in the earth to accomplish that purpose. But, you certainly won’t hear this on T.V. MSM news or read it in public school textbooks anymore. To wave the red, white, and blue over America in the spirit of 1776 and stand at the gap for our nation's full restoration to our manifest destiny in His Story, awaken the slumbering Lady Liberty within with Links to these INSPIRATIONAL PRIMARY SOURCE TOOLS . . . |
