Main Sessions kick off each morning after devotions and each afternoon following lunch. They are held in the main room for all attendees. A total of four Main Sessions will address this year’s 2026 writing focus for Pioneers with Pens to STAKE YOUR CLAIM!
FridayAM Session 1: Pioneers--Stake Your Claim Gold Rush!

The initial Friday morning session lays a critical foundation for our 2-day retreat/workshop. Miss Kathy reviews the pioneer spirit of a writer to commit their writing life vision to a journey with excellence and hit their writing marks. She introduces our 2026 metaphorical theme where pioneers are inspired by the 1839 Gold Rush where our American ancestors bravely advanced to take hold of valuable territory. What is the valuable territory God has called YOU to take and stake YOUR claim as a published writer?

In this session, discover the prophetic lessons in this past Hebrew year 5786--the year of Vav--and what we can learn about staking our writing to our reader--not ourselves. Power tips to drive your word stakes into the heart of a reading audience position you to take maximum territory as an author and influencer.

This fast moving Tips Territory staking will keep you on your toes with valuable advice to help YOU advance and stake YOUR claim!

You may volunteer to share your Mission Statement and Vision Board in the Show & Tell Testimony finale before Miss Kathy wraps things up with a special prophetic word of commissioning. Prayer ministry follows as you are launched into your calling to pursue a new level of excellence in your assignment and stay connected and accountable on your writing journey for the words God has entrusted you to write. Please don’t forget to drop off your Evaluation Form of the retreat and Restoration Family Farm.
