From nine in the morning to eight at night, in class after class, I walked, listened, and took notes. Next day, repeat--my feet shod in the shoes of weariness and exhaustion. Tick, tock, tick, tock, tick, tock. Coo-coo, coo-coo, coo-coo. Another hour passes, and we were so busy that we didn’t have time to . . . Does that sound familiar? It is one of the most discussed topics today. We are always saying things like, “Gosh, where did all the time go?” or “I wish I had more time to_____” especially when it comes to our writing. Yet each of us is given the same amount of time each day. What is the difference between a writer that is published and a Hopeful Writer? In real estate sales for over 30 years, Sam Siligato is also active in his church, teaches Sunday school, and hopes to turn his lifelong desire to write into a more active ministry as he approaches the new season of retirement. He has been published in the Amy Writing Awards, War Cry, and Upper Room devotionals. In addition, his book So You Want to Be a Landlord was written from experience in rental investment.
