A Note from the Author
Since my teaching tenure at StoneBridge School in Chesapeake, Virginia in 1994, I’ve had the privilege of writing, directing, and producing scores of students in Christian and home school venues, retelling the events of the Plimoth Plantation Thanksgiving of 1621. It is the dramatic tale of the pilgrims who sailed the Mayflower from Plimoth, England, to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, that we look back upon marking Thanksgiving Day.

I drew primary source material for the five scripts I'm making available from the famous Thanksgiving account by William Bradford, the first governor of Plimoth Plantation, titled, The History of Plimoth Plantation. From this firsthand account of American history, I distilled the core events and principles learned from those events into flexible scripts for casts large and small, young and old, to suit multiple venues.
